Dearest colleagues, friends, and followers, I’m asking you to be in a relationship with me. We may not see each other regularly, but if you’re reading this, you are here, and I appreciate you!
You may have previously supported mutual aid efforts. You may have let resources flow through. Maybe mutual aid is a new opportunity for you?
I continue to be influenced by Sonya Renee Taylor @sonyareneetaylor she speaks powerfully on the inequity regarding resources held by white body folks (and I paraphrase my memory of her “what’s up y’all talks circa 2020) ...
It’s not yours to give. If you’re white in this world, you have a white debit card. You’re drawing from a system built on extraction.
Then another truth:
All white wealth is stolen wealth, as named by the Black Panthers.
Here’s why I’m reaching out / posting today.

On a Brown body, the current collapse of the racialized, patriarchal regime of the United States simply hits differently. Her kid lives in a Brown body. There’s no trust fund, no college savings plan. I have the latter from my marriage, and the ease this brings me, well, mostly ease, is immense. What there is for my friend is brilliance, love, and deep resilience.
Last year and into this year, we flowed through $2268 in funds to their family. I wanted to celebrate this win and keep flowing. Can you share $5, $50, or $500? I have continued to see myself as a gateway to mutuality, or this is my aim. Do you have enough? Then let those funds flow.
Moving from a charity model to a mutual aid model is about relationships. It’s choosing to redistribute, to trust, to support life beyond our own. To further develop the relationship aspect, I invite you to engage in a more in-depth conversation with me. For free! DM me.

Paralegal. I’m also heavily impacted by ICE and have been staying home due to safety concerns. I am in need of aid to help pay off a hefty medical bill of $4,830 for my chronic illness treatment
